Battery endurance varies depending on level of assist and terrain. Elby has the most robust battery in the market today. Approx. The maximum range of this system as 80 miles under lowest assist.
How much does it weigh?
An Elby weighs in at around 55 pounds.
How fast can I go on Elby?
You can go as fast as your legs can pedal on Elby! However, according to the law of the land, Elby’s pedal assist system can only “help” you up to 20 miles per hour. Beyond that, it’s all you!
How long does the battery last?
How often do I need to charge the battery?
We recommend charging the battery after every ride, preferably when the display shows less than 50% battery life. The batteries are designed with a deep sleep circuit to protect the battery life in case it’s not frequently charged. If you find you’re not riding a lot, we encourage you to fully charge the battery at least once every 6 months to keep it fit.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
What is the capacity of the battery?
How safe is Elby?
Is Elby safe in the rain?
Yes, indeed. Elby is an all-weather system. We’ve worked very hard to make the frame, electronics and drivetrain impervious to all but the most severe conditions. As a matter of precaution we do recommend that you store your bike out of the elements to prevent corrosion and prevent Elby from getting lonely.
Do I need a driver’s license, registration, or insurance to legally ride Elby?
Can I carry an Elby electric bike on my car or vehicle bike rack?
